Sail Through Time — Cairo, Luxor & the Nile by Dahabiya

Drift through the timeless heart of Upper Egypt aboard a traditional dahabiya — an intimate, sail-powered wooden vessel that has graced the Nile for centuries. This 5-day journey from Esna to Aswan trades the crowds of large cruise ships for peaceful waters, unhurried days, and an authentically Egyptian experience.

Glide past emerald sugarcane fields, sleepy riverside villages, and golden desert cliffs as you make your way south toward Aswan. Along the way, step ashore to explore legendary temples at Edfu and Kom Ombo, watch golden sunsets from the open deck with a cool drink in hand, and fall asleep to the gentle sound of the Nile.

With only a handful of guests aboard, every meal is a personal affair, every stop a private discovery. This is slow travel at its finest — where the journey itself is the destination.
